Our scheduling and monitoring services are used by veterinary practices around the globe to acquire more clients, provide a better service, and increase clinician productivity.
Vetstoria’s development and support services center in Colombo is looking for a competent individual to join our amazing SecOps team.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct web application, cloud, and server security assessments and report vulnerabilities while coordinating with other team members.
- Conduct Threat Modeling and Secure Design assessments with other teams and stakeholders to assess and provide recommendations to mitigate risk.
- Suggest and implement new solutions to enhance Vetstoria’s security posture.
- Monitoring and incident response of information security incidents.
- Coordinate, guide and manage team members on security projects and tasks as needed.
- Research for latest and zero-day vulnerabilities (plugins, libraries, etc.), assess the impact on Vetstoria systems, and coordinate with product owners to report them to be patched in a timely manner.
- Work closely with development teams in designing and developing solutions for identified security vulnerabilities.
Candidate profile
- Good understanding of causes and preventive measures of web application security vulnerabilities.
- Good understanding of functional and logical security flaws of applications.
- Familiarity with cloud security concepts and practices.
- Experience in using open source and proprietary security tools.
- Good knowledge of cloud security and DevSecOps concepts.
- Security and Unix-based system administration skills.
- Ability to write scripts in shell scripting languages.
- Team player with a passion for cybersecurity.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field / Higher Diploma + relevant security certifications.
- Security certification similar to SSCP, CEH, OSCP, or CISA will be an added advantage.
